The UTS Tour arrives in France: an unprecedented event in the Nîmes Arena
For the first time since its creation in 2020, the UTS Tour (Ultimate Tennis Showdown), founded by Patrick Mouratoglou, will set foot in France in 2025. This unique and spectacular event will be held in an exceptional setting: the Arènes de Nîmes, on April 4 and 5, 2025. The event will mark the start of the European clay-court season, just before major events such as Monte-Carlo and Roland-Garros.
The UTS Tour, designed to modernize tennis and appeal to a wider audience, offers a resolutely different approach. The short, intense matches are divided into quarter-times with a time limit, creating a fast-paced, dynamic spectacle. Players also have the option of using “tactical cards” to alter the course of matches, adding a dose of unpredictability. Finally, interactivity with the audience and live interviews make the experience even more immersive.
The Nîmes stopover will be the second of the 2025 season, following Guadalajara (Mexico) in February. The choice of the Arènes de Nîmes, an emblematic historical monument, adds a spectacular touch to this event, which promises to attract the best players on the circuit and many spectators. Ticketing opens on October 11, 2024 at 12 noon, and demand is already expected to be strong.
It's a not-to-be-missed opportunity for both tennis enthusiasts and those looking for a unique sporting and cultural experience in an exceptional location.
