The capital of the Cévennes is set to vibrate to the rhythm of the "Feria de l'Ascension", an unmissable festive event steeped in the warmth of Camargue traditions and Andalusian culture. From May 9 to 12, the heart of the town and the banks of the Gardon river will be the scene of five days of celebration under the spring sun.
Dressed in the official dress code - blue T-shirts and white bandanas - participants can enjoy a friendly, family atmosphere while immersing themselves in the festivities. A host of traditional activities await visitors: pégoulade, encierros, Provençal and Sevillian masses, abrivados competitions, the Gardonnenque race with the release of anoubles into the Gardon, Camargue races, toro piscine, paquito, as well as equestrian entertainment.
