Château de Teillan, a listed historic monument, lies 3 kilometers south of the village of Aimargues. Its origins date back to Roman times, when it was known as "villa Tellianis", first mentioned in 814 and 960.

Acquired by the Abbey of Psalmody in the 12th century, the château has stood the test of time, retaining its splendor and historical significance. A decree in 1635 allowed the château's owners to collect Roman remains such as milestones and steles in its grounds, reinforcing its link with the region's ancient history. Both the park and the château itself are listed as historic monuments, testifying to their cultural value.

The château's grounds, carefully landscaped in the 19th century, are a haven of peace and romance. It is dotted with exceptional Roman stelae and markers, adding a touch of authenticity and mystery to this enchanting setting.

In addition to its Roman remains, the château also boasts some remarkable architectural features, including a mikveh, a noria and a dovecote dating from the 16th century. These features add to its charm and historical significance, offering visitors a real plunge into the past.
