Truffle Festival in Nîmes: a gourmet and festive event from January 31 to February 2, 2025
The City of Nîmes, in partnership with the Syndicat des trufficulteurs gardois, invites you to celebrate the Fête de la Truffe on the Place du Marché, an event that has become an absolute must.
Truffles in the spotlight
For three days, discover the world of the precious black mushroom through a market dedicated to regional products and flavors. Some twenty stands will be selling local specialities: aligot, truffade, brandade truffée, charcuterie, cheeses, olive oils, honey, gingerbread, nougats, not forgetting truffle omelettes and the region's finest wines.
Animations and demonstrations
Under large tents, truffle growers will share their know-how, while cavage demonstrations (finding truffles with a dog) will captivate young and old alike. Musical performances add a festive touch to this gastronomic event.

Every year, this event brings together lovers of truffles and local produce, making the Fête de la Truffe a veritable institution in the Gard town. A unique opportunity to taste and buy quality products, and to immerse yourself in the world of this emblematic mushroom.
